Ms. V :: Southern Maryland Boudoir
I’ve neglected the blog for quite some time now. I hate that! I’m going to try harder to be more frequent with the blog posts. But I’ve been pretty busy with designing wedding invitations (which I plan to post here sometime soon) and my full time job. And in that time, I had an opportunity to do a boudoir shoot for Ms. V and 2 other of her girlfriends. And they will be posted very soon. And in case you’re wondering, I don’t post any boudoir photos on the blog without permission. So it was a fun session trying out different outfits, different poses, and a little wine
So what exactly is boudoir? Pictures of half naked ladies? Well, a little yes, but it’s more than that. It’s that inner vixen dying to come out baring it all for the world to see, or maybe not the world, but a select audience you wish to show it to. Rewind to back in the day in France, “boudoir” was translated as a woman’s private dressing room. Boudoir photography typically takes place in a bedroom setting, hotel room, or any setting to create a romantic, sexy or sensual feel. What it’s really about is you, giving you that empowerment and allowing yourself to be you!
Anyway…Here is Ms. V showing off her inner vixen!
Thank you Ms. V for a fun session!

My dude in a polaroid transfer
In a couple weeks I’ll be visiting my dude in the much needed warm weather down south. It’ll be a nice birthday present and a happy reunion at the same time. I will say, I am nervous about flying this time. With all the weird stuff happening lately with airplanes really freaks me out. I’ll try to be brave though. It’s a much needed break and I hate this DC cold weather.
While he’s away for a year, our new condo is being built and we have a lot to look forward to next year and of course his return. Before he left, I had him model for me so I could play around with the light.. cough cough…(so I could have photos of him before he left) I also got this awesome polaroid transfer set from swiss miss design haus, a door prize I won at the basics workshop . So I decided to play around with them tonight. I have to figure out what to do with these, I’d hate to have them sit on my hard drive. Anyone have any ideas?
