It’s always about this time from Oct-Dec it gets a little nuts around here. Because of the holidays everyone is looking for family photos to hand out Christmas cards. So there’s going to be some awesome families and little ones on the blog soon. It was a cloudy day in Northern Virginia but we still seemed to get some great images even with the days being shorter. I just wanted to share a couple of Big Brother with Baby Sister…more to come!
Cute nicknames, eh? Love it. It was about fall time and Melissa was in need to get some family photos of her and the girls. It was a beautiful day at Occoquan Park in Woodbridge, VA so we ventured out to photograph her little family. I’m not gonna lie, Sass and Sprout showed me what it was like to work hard, but I was very pleased at what I captured for Melissa and am proud that I was able to freeze this moment in time for her. You girls are beautiful!!

Sometimes I get an itch and I gotta get out and photograph something. Rhema loves to model and I got together with makeup artist and photographer Kayla Midkiff. We took a drive out to southern Maryland and had our own portrait modeling session there. The weather was awesome, Rhema looked fantastic and we had a blast. Rhema also brought along her friend who I will be posting about later. But first I wanted to share my favorites from Rhema’s portrait session.

It was one of the coldest days we’ve had in Virginia, but I was determined to get Lindsie and Braddock out for a mini photo session. We took a drive to Occoquan Park and braved the cold weather. Needless to say Braddock was more concerned with what was going on around him rather than paying attention to the crazy lady with the camera. However, that wasn’t anything a couple treats and a squeaky toy couldn’t fix. My favorite thing the most about this mini session is the solid bond between them.

You might remember Christina from last year on the blog. Well this year, she and her family are expecting! So we got together at a local farm for a fall maternity session. We met at Bowles Farm in southern Maryland and opted for a pumpkin patch maternity session. We had such a great time and I really love the corn and pumpkin theme.
