We’re getting ready to move..again, and I’m packing up the computer until I move to MD and set up shop. Long story short, my dude is taking a job overseas and I’ll be hanging out in Maryland until our new place is built in Woodbridge. Things are going to be a little different for a bit, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. And I’ll be up and posting again soon.
Bob is on vacation in North Carolina until we move into the new place when it’s ready and needless to say, we really miss that guy. I know Roxy does, she’s been acting like it. So I hate posting with out a photo, so here is Bob.
I saw this flower peaking out if the fence outside my gate in the back yard.
It’s a pine tree of some sort. Not sure if those yellow buds are baby pine cones?
I saved the grossest thing for last. These guys aren’t so ugly by themselves, but when they’re all together like this stuck to the side of a tree, it really grosses me out. With no doubt I used my 70-300mm for this.
And they’re furry!!! yyyuuucckk!
I had been asked to take photos of this car and was more than willing since I’ve never done any shots of cars and really want to try all kinds of photography in different situations. I had the idea to get shots in a parking garage for a more dramatic look and I think I achieved that. I think the red color really made the car itself stand out in the dark grey parking garage, and it was shiny, oooo. I hope to try more one day.
I’m always looking forward to the weekends to go out and shoot. I don’t really know what, I just go out and find anything I can. During the week is hard because it gets dark by 5 and I’m usually leaving work at that time. It was actually snowing in Old Town this weekend and although I brought my camera, I was afraid to take it out because of the snow. Ugh…winter means shorter days, I hate it. I could probably go and on about why I’m not a fan of winter, but I won’t bore anyone with that. More photos on my flickr photostream
